About Form IMM 1344
In-Canada Application Form IMM 1344 for Permanent Resident Status is the application for permanent residence in Canada to be used by spouses or common-law partners of Canadian citizens or permanent residents who wish to apply for permanent residence while both the sponsor and the applicant are residing in Canada.
Who Should Apply
The principal applicant (spouse or common-law partner of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident) and each of the dependent children, aged 18 or older, who are in Canada have to complete the In-Canada Application Form IMM 1344 for Permanent Resident Status.
The applicant has to be the spouse or common-law partner of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and both the applicant and sponsor should be residing in Canada.
