Study in Canada

How to Study in Canada

Canada’s immigration system, like many other countries has a system of visas designed to grant access to the country based on purpose.

In order to work in Canada one has to get a work permit. If someone wants to go to school in Canada, they have to get a student visa.

Regardless of what level of education a student may be they will still have to get a study permit. The exception to this is if they are in Canada under a parent’s visa or if they have Permanent Residency.Canada Study Permit

Getting a study permit can be somewhat involved and it is very important to file the forms correctly.

Because schools often operate on rigid schedules, it is important to obtain one’s study permit well in advance of the start of school.

It would be very inconvenient to have one’s visa delayed and miss out on the first weeks of school.

Why Study in Canada?

Canada is a safe and beautiful country, full of fantastic and wonderful landscapes. Among these idyllic scenes are some of the best schools in the world.

Universities in Canada are particularly well-known and regarded as being wonderful research institutions where a great deal of good work is done.

Canada believes in the poser of education as well and because of that they do lot to help their students get through school (in the form of scholarships and such) and to be placed in employment after their graduation.

While you research going to Canada for school, you may want to arrange a trip to Canada to see these schools on a tourist visa.

After Graduation

Immigrants who have graduated from a Canadian university have the opportunity to get Permanent Residency with the Canadian Experience Class program.

Permanent Residency is an immigration status that allows a person to live and work in Canada indefinitely and will eventually lead to their qualification for citizenship.
